In spring of 2009, Karin and Jens asked me to design the save the date cards for their surprise wedding. They wanted a casual, playful design in bright green (her choice) and navy blue (his choice). The compromise!
I decided to represent the story of this longtime couple with a seedling-turned-tree theme — perfect for springtime, and quite appropriate for these garden-crazed lovebirds!
Following the save the date cards, I extended the design to a two-panel announcement and a tri-fold wedding invitation.
A menu card for their reception and matching envelope seals completed the package.
Congratulations, Karin and Jens!

Reetu's RSVP cards
Reetu had her wedding invitations printed in India, and needed RSVP cards to match the design of her red velvet scroll invitation.
I printed her RSVP cards on gold metallic cardstock and picked up the typeface and some of the design elements from the invitation for the cards and the return envelope mailing label.
Reetu needed two sets of RSVP cards and a third set of cards with additional event information.
All packed up and ready to go!

Neha & Rishi
In May 2008, Neha and Rishi exchanged their marriage vows in Santa Clara, California, followed by a festive reception for their 80 guests.
Neha had asked me to design her ceremony program, escort cards and favors in hot pink and purple to match the floral arrangements and linens.
The ceremony programs were printed on cream-white paper with a felt finish.
I bound them with a shimmering two-tone ribbon and decorated each booklet with a glass leaf ornament.
For her favors, Neha had asked me to wrap Hershey's Mini Bars in a custom wrapper. Sweet, no?
Individual chocolate bars were placed on each place setting. In addition, Neha and Rishi provided organza sachets filled with more chocolate favors to their youngest guests.
Congratulations, Neha and Rishi!

Manisha & Danan
Manisha and Danan's cheerful springtime wedding took place at the gorgeous Bently Reserve in the heart of San Francisco in April 2008.
Manisha chose an orange & brown color scheme to match the décor of the venue, which bursted with splashes of color from the orange silk linens and smashing tulip centerpieces.

Manisha chose a luxurious shimmering orange cardstock for her ceremony program covers, and asked me to incorporate a lotus flower in her wedding stationery design. The lotus motif was repeated on the place cards, favors, and table name signs.

Instead of simply numbering the tables, Danan and Manisha had come up with street names that were meaningful to them, their family and friends, and their past both individually and as a couple. Each table name sign bore a description of the meaning behind the table's name — such a lovely personal touch, and a source of entertainment and reminiscence for Danan and Manisha's guests.
For their wedding favors, I created a collection of marble magnets, using the lotus flower motif and a line drawing of Hindu deity Ganesha in different combinations of brown, orange and white. The magnets were adhered to custom-wrapped squares of Scharffen Berger chocolate.
Manisha's wedding planner, Purvi Shah from Avant Planners watched over every detail, and made sure the happy couple could enjoy their big day to the fullest.
...and clearly they did!
Congratulations, Manisha and Danan!
